WHY ARE WE HERE?
We’re here to be happy right? …to live happy! Think of it for a moment: why are we getting all this stuff, experiences, expensive jewels etc? to reach happiness. But happiness this way vanishes quickly!
There was a science experiment where $50 was given to each member of 2 groups; groups A had to buy something for themselves; group B had to treat someone to dinner, show, or movie. several weeks later they were asked how happy they felt about how hey spent heir $50; Group A answered they were happy for a week or two; Group B answered they were still happy, remembered vividly the moment, and outlived group A happiness level.
Why? because we are Social Beings! When we are sharing a moment with others, our happiness level rises!
Also, we are here to serve! It is our nature to serve!
So, serve! help, Share , care, Connect, communicate and be happy!
But don’t take my word for it! Try it for yourself! Experiment!
In order to master the Law of Attraction, I think that meditation is crucial. Every morning I spend 35 to 40 min in meditation. (to grow my Love and Light to “shine out”) It is like also cleaning the mind from the garbage. and opens space to get more from life.
Today, I want to share what I know about meditation.
First, you can find a number of meditation techniques on youtube
Meditation can be done in 4 main ways; guided, silent, or mantra , and contemplation. Meditation is usually done with closed eyes or as in ht e zen meditation, gazing the floor, 3 ft in front to of you.
GUIDED: you have many on youtube.com . the master just tells you what you canvisualize and feel. it is a passive mode. Or the master can chant a word or a stream of words.
SILENT/BREATHING: you just focus on your breathing, and try to keep your mind as quiet as possible. This is quite a high level of meditation, and you have to watch not to fall asleep. there is the free breathing technique or the controlled breathing technique, where you count second inhale and seconds to exhale; for example 7-3-7-3 starting with inhale.
NOTE: SILENT MEDITATION can be also done with a soft, mellow music in a low volume.
MANTRA Meditation: it is the same as above but repeating a word or a string of words. examples: Ohm or Ahh, OR “ohm-shreem-maha-kashmihe-naamaha,” etc..
in the Transcendental Meditation, you have a mantra to repeat during the entire day too, every 15 seconds!
CONTEMPLATION: INSIDE: you can lit a candle and focus on it, or take a picture and focus on it, or OUTSIDE: just go to your backyard and observe nature, focusing on its simple beauty, or to the park and do the same.
LENGTH: it varies. for me, i need 35 min minimum. if you are novie, start with 5 -10 min. and add time as you go.
FREQUENCY: Daily is the best ; first thing in the morning is very beneficial you can also do it in then evening.
POSITION: there are a variety of positions but the main ones are:
CHAIR: sitting on a chair, back straight, feet flat on the floor, hands facing up of down. (you may add gestures to enhance your meditation. I do…)
NO CHAIR: sitting on a cushion, Buckwheat Zafu and Zabuton Meditation Cushion Set.
Well that’s about all I know about meditation practices. Again, I recommend meditation to activate your Law of Attraction. It will center your mind, clean out the garbage we ingest everyday through gossips, TV news (the bad ones, about 95%), information overload, etc. and have a clear mind ready to work on your projects or goals.

The Present is a Gift
The Buddha said: “The past is already gone, the future is not yet here. There’s only one moment for you to live, and that is the present moment”
Yes think of it for a sec.
There is nothing you can do about your past it is done, gone finished . right?
The future is not yet written but will be the result of …
the Present, that’s where you want to focus on!
Think of it the Present is also the result of your past thoughts and feelings!
So if you want to build a solid Future, focus on your present thoughts and feelings. If you want to think from the end (result), it is all right. but don’t be fixed on the future.
So list your goals (future), imagine them, and then let go. and come back to the present. ” OK. What do I want to accomplish today? What is the first thing I want to do”
I mean if you want to make a sandwich, first you got to get the ingredients, and then start making it, right? Today, gather your ingredients, one at a time!

There are 2 Kinds of knowledge.
The knowledge of the mind ==> intelligence…
and the knowledge of the heart ==> wisdom.
Or if you want, the thought process and the feeling /emotion process.
Now I ask you a question:
Which one do you think is the major cause for success and happiness?
Why are there people wandering around with degrees and not feeling successful or happy?
and why are there people having a minimum of material stuff and busting with happiness, and feeling successful?
Would you think that knowledge alone will bring you success, the as a result happiness ?
Or would you think that maybe , maybe.. a life based n wisdom, emotions, feelings, connection will bring a certain sense of success and definitely happiness? … Are you chasing after the wrong rabbit? I hope these few words will trigger a moment to stop running, and just pause a little for a 10 minutes thinking. I call this a heart thinking, because if you do , you will find an answer to your question, to your quest. Wishing you happiness and Success!
HOW TO BE THE EXPERT IN 7 STEPS Someone recently asked me how to become an expert. These are my suggestions:
2. EXPERIMENT Be critical of what works and what does not in your experience and your AOK. Take one method and experiment it. Then see if you can duplicate or repeat this one method. Make sure you have all the steps together, and repeat the method. Next, evaluate and report the result , the pitfall (s), the variable element (s) to be successful with the method. Then When and only when you see you can repeat the mothos or apporach with total confidence , you are now ready to share with your readers through blog post, articles, report, or even a book! why not? As Julia Child once said, “Scientific workability.”

HOW TO BE an EXPERT IN 7 STEPS
Someone recently asked me how to become an expert.
These are my suggestions:
1. CHOOSE your area of knowledge ,
Something you are passionate about. What is your passion? what you always talk about!
Then study your Area of Knowledge.
Read books about it, read articles,
read what others are saying, blogs, articles, listen to the experts.
Go to events where you have a chance to listen to experts, or mix with others who are in your field of knowledge. Be open to others; sometimes they will offer or recommend you to other sources, other people, etc. to finish your project.
Sometimes when I listen to an expert in webinars, trainings, seminars, who will mention some book titles. I write the title carefully and then check it out. Sometimes this is going to be the book I was looking for for my project.
Be aware of that: We become an expert more by listening than by speaking, and by giving undivided attention to the other experts; they may have something you don’t have, a technique you may use, an approacch you have not thought about. etc.
Choose your sources carefully. (You know, the information over load?)
Some books are just platitudes and a waste of time to read and to finish; be aware of it.
When I read a book and see that it is just beating around the bushes all over, I jump to the next chapter or jump around the chapters and evaluate if it worth reading.
I have noticed that for me it is a game to become an expert; I just play detective, observe quietly, follow a path, but always with a playful approach. I play the game of the Expert.
Also, I ask question to the Universe; like “What do I need to do now to finish my research, my project? What is the next step?”
